Tradition is terrific, especially when transmitted for refining and celebrating. 2. In addition to the many years of conscientious effort Mr. Pachul has devoted to this opportunity for local transmission of important events within East Toronto and the infusion of interesting ideas from outside our area, the many educational benefits for our neighbourhood surfaces upon reflection about student and community-lead productions of art, music, drama, dance and sport are excitedly evident. 3. These habits and interests are firmly established here via school programming and community-spirited developments by local organizations and clubs. 4. The fine art traditions are obvious when you learn of the many professionals who reside here. They actively support and demonstrate their craft often for community benefit. 5. Your support of Mr. Pachul’s idea will ensure that the satisfaction of residing in a safe and satisfying part of the Greater Toronto Area called East Toronto or the Beaches will enable us to communicate local issues to each other and neighbouring communities so model habits continue to grow informed and contented citizens in an expanding atmosphere of cynical isolation, we’re told. 6.
